Comfort

The QoL Suite

Bedrock-friendly comforts: location HUD, trade, waypoints, scoreboard, and more.

AoW SMP is built to feel good on both Java and Bedrock. A whole family of in-house quality-of-life plugins smooths over the rough edges of crossplay — frozen skies, missing coordinates, no off-hand button — and adds the little comforts that make a survival server pleasant to actually live in. Everything here is vanilla-item, ADD-only, and crossplay-safe. Bedrock players: remember your name carries a . prefix, so type it in commands exactly as shown.

1 Start Here

New to the comfort suite? A few commands cover almost everything.

/aow — The Master Hub
/aow

One menu to rule them all. Opens a clickable GUI that links every QoL feature, setting, and toggle on the server. If you only remember one command, remember this one.

/guide — Welcome Book
/guide

The written welcome book — server rules, how-to pages, and quick links. Handed to you on first join; re-open it any time to brush up on the basics.

/daily — Login Streak
/daily

Claim your daily login reward and build a streak. Stop by once a day to keep the chain alive and stack up bonuses.

Tip: /aow works identically on Java and Bedrock — the GUI is rendered with vanilla inventory menus, so it looks native on both clients.

2 The Bedrock HUD — Location, Time & Weather

Geyser does a heroic job translating Java to Bedrock, but a few things don't come across. AoW fills those gaps so Bedrock players never feel second-class.

/coords
/coords

Shows your exact X / Y / Z. Bedrock's F3-style debug screen isn't available through Geyser, so this is your quick "where am I?" readout for navigating, sharing locations, and finding your way home.

/realtime
/realtime

Displays the true in-game server time. This is the workaround for the frozen-sky bug — gameplay time is always correct, and /realtime shows you exactly what the server clock says.

/realweather
/realweather

Reports the actual server weather (clear / rain / thunder). Pairs with /realtime so the Bedrock visual lag never leaves you guessing whether a storm is really rolling in.

Known issue — the frozen Bedrock sky. On Bedrock, the day/night sky can appear stuck. This is a known Geyser bug (#2790): Geyser doesn't relay the server's time-of-day to the Bedrock client, so the sky visual lags behind. Everything that matters is still correct on the server — mob hostility, Blood Moons, sleeping in beds, and all gameplay run on the real server time. Only the cosmetic Bedrock sky is affected.
The fix: use the AoW scoreboard sidebar and /realtime / /realweather to read the true time and weather any moment you need it. Java players see the correct sky natively.

3 The Scoreboard Sidebar

The AoWScoreboard sidebar keeps your key stats glanceable on the right edge of the screen — and it's fully per-player, so you can switch it off if you like a clean view.

Toggle it your way

/aowsb
/aowsb

Toggle the AoW sidebar scoreboard on or off. Your choice is remembered per-player, so it stays the way you left it.

/sb — short form
/sb

The quick alias for the same toggle. Flip the sidebar on or off in a single keystroke.

Why it matters on Bedrock: because the sidebar can show the real time, it doubles as a permanent fix for the frozen-sky problem — a glance at the corner always tells you the truth.

4 Social & Trading

Play together safely. Secure trades, honor tags for creators, and a cozy place to sit.

/trade — Secure Player Trade
/trade <player>

Opens a secure trade GUI between two players. Both sides see and confirm what's being exchanged before anything moves — no more "drop it and trust me" scams. The safest way to swap loot.

/sit — Take a Seat
/sit

Sit down right where you stand. Perfect for posing, hanging out at spawn, or resting around the campfire with friends.

/title — Cosmetic Titles
/title

Choose and display a cosmetic title next to your name. Pure flair — show off your style with no gameplay impact.

Creator & Honor Tags

Streamers, content creators, and supporters get recognized in-game with honor tags.

/creators
/creators

Browse the server's recognized creators and supporters — see who streams and makes content for AoW SMP.

/whois
/whois <player>

Look up a player's honor tags and standing. Find out who you're sharing the world with.

/link
/link

Link your creator or supporter status to earn your honor tag and join the recognized roster.

Bedrock names: when you /trade or /whois a Bedrock player, include their leading . — for example /trade .Steve. Java names have no dot.

5 Movement & Waypoints

Get where you're going — and find your way back after a bad night.

/waypoints — Mark Your World
/wp

Set, name, and manage personal waypoints, then navigate back to them whenever you want. Includes an automatic death waypoint so you always know where you fell.

/unstick — Escape Hatch
/unstick

Wedged inside a block or stuck in geometry after a teleport or chunk hiccup? /unstick frees you and gets you moving again.

/view — Personal Render Distance
/view

Set your own per-player render distance. Crank it up to admire the view, or pull it in for a smoother frame rate on a weaker device.

/sync — Fix Bedrock Desync
/sync

Resync your client when Bedrock drifts out of step with the server — rubber-banding, ghost blocks, or a stale inventory. A one-command refresh.

/gleam — Dynamic Light
/gleam

Opt-in dynamic lighting: carry a torch or glowing item and light up the area around you as you walk. Off by default — toggle it on when you want it.

/offhand — Off-Hand Swap
/offhand

Bedrock has no native off-hand button, so this command swaps an item into your off-hand slot — shields, totems, maps, and more, finally usable on Bedrock.

Death recovery, the easy way: when you die, a death waypoint is dropped automatically. Open /wp to navigate straight back to your gravesite — and AxGraves keeps your items safe in a grave while you make the trek.

6 Backtrack & Death Tools

Lost your stuff or want to know what went wrong? These tools have your back.

CommandWhat it does
/deathsReview your recent death log — when, where, and how you fell.
/backtrackRetrace your last location trail to recover lost gear or find where you died.
/wpOpen waypoints, including the auto-placed death waypoint, to navigate home.
/topView server leaderboards and see where you rank.
Combo move: /deaths tells you where, /backtrack retraces the path, and the death /wp guides you straight to the grave. Together they make corpse runs painless.

7 Ground Items — Auto-Cleanup, Done Right

AoWGroundItems quietly keeps the world tidy without ever eating your loot.

Clears the junk
🧹

Automatically sweeps up dropped clutter — rotten flesh, stray cobble, and the endless debris of a busy server — to keep performance smooth and the ground clean.

Protects the valuables
💎

Smart enough to leave your important drops alone. Valuable items are protected from the cleanup sweep, so you never lose the good stuff to the broom.

Still pick up promptly: protection covers valuables, but the safest habit is always to grab your drops quickly — especially after a Champion kill drops something rare.

8 Foods — Cook Something Special

Use /foods to craft fun, themed dishes that go beyond plain steak — each with its own flavor and effect.

🌮 Taco

A handheld classic from the AoW kitchen.

🍔 Burger

Hearty and filling — diner-style comfort food.

🍕 Pizza

A slice of the good life, server-side.

🍣 Sushi

Fresh and light for the road.

🥤 Smoothie

A refreshing drink to wash it all down.

Open the food menu with:

# Java
/foods

# Bedrock — same command, names carry the dot prefix
/foods
Vanilla-only, always: every AoW food is built from real Minecraft items and effects — no custom resource pack required, and it works the same on Java and Bedrock.

9 Custom Enchants

The /enchants menu adds a curated set of utility enchants that make everyday survival faster and friendlier.

EnchantWhat it does
TimberFell a whole tree at once — chop the base and the rest comes down.
VeinminerBreak an entire ore vein in one swing.
TelekinesisMined drops go straight to your inventory — no chasing items.
MagnetismPulls nearby drops and XP toward you automatically.
GillsBreathe easier underwater for longer dives.
NightseerSee clearly in the dark — built-in night vision for mining and caving.
Timber Veinminer Telekinesis Magnetism Gills Nightseer
Pair them up: Timber + Telekinesis turns a forest into a full inventory of logs in seconds, and Veinminer + Magnetism makes deep-cave mining a breeze.
