Systems Directory

A practical map of the custom AOW systems players actually touch: combat pressure, recovery, world exploration, progression, utility, and community loops.

1 Player-facing system map

Use this table when you need to explain what makes AOW different without dumping raw plugin names into chat.

2 Custom plugin clusters

Grouped by job, not by folder name, so helpers can answer quickly.

Combat pressure
the Champions module in AoWMythic, AoWChampionAffixes, AoWAscension

Boss-like mobs scale the world without turning every fight into chaos. Affixes and ascended modifiers make late-game scouting and preparation matter.

Death and route recovery
AoWDeathBook, AoWCoords, map flow

Players can recover after mistakes with recent death records, coordinate HUDs, and the live map instead of relying on memory.

World discovery
AncientLibrary, DarkDungeons, ChestLoot, BigVeins

Exploration gets real goals: aboveground libraries, hidden mini-dungeons, richer containers, and ore routes worth mapping.

Server rhythm
BloodMoon, BossEvents, Events, Announcer

Timed moments, mini-bosses, broadcasts, and server-wide events create shared stories without needing staff to manually run every moment.

Progression and identity
Achievements, Challenges, Board, Titles

Players can chase personal milestones, leaderboard goals, cosmetic identity, and opt-in challenge runs.

Daily play glue
Daily, Foods, Enchants, Gleam, Creators

Small daily systems keep the server comfortable: rewards, recipes, custom enchant utility, dynamic light behavior, and creator recognition.

3 First-hour recommendations

If a player asks what to do next, send one of these instead of an overloaded plugin list.

New survival player

Run /spawn, set /sethome home, read /guide, then open the map before leaving the safe area.

Explorer

Open map.aowmc.com, plan a short loop, watch for champion pressure, and keep /deaths ready.

Builder

Claim first, trust carefully, avoid placing storage before permissions are right, and document the base route on the map.

Helper shortcut: when in doubt, point players to the player handbook first, then narrow down into Champions, Claims, Economy, or Map Recovery.
