Map first-aid

When the world feels odd, these checks make support rounds disappear fast.

Map loads, but no world yet?Try opening map.aowmc.com in a new tab. Some browser privacy layers delay map tile rendering initially.
Need cleaner routing?Zoom out, show roads/biomes first, then zoom in on your target before planning travel.
Trying to recover gear?Pair map waypoints with /deaths and /backtrack for your route home.
Can’t read chunk data?Use the mobile app or desktop zoom level for your device. Then re-enable controls and refresh.
Event scouting Before a Blood Moon, champion push, or group run, use the map to pick fallback paths and meeting points.
Public build etiquette If the map shows a settlement or road network, route around it unless you are invited to build nearby.
Creator clips Start clips on the map, then cut to in-game movement. It makes AOW feel like one connected world.
