AoW SMP runs on about 27 plugins total — 6 consolidated in-house packs we wrote and maintain, plus ~21 trusted third-party plugins that handle the heavy infrastructure. Every in-house pack obeys the same four hard rules: paper-api only (no NMS), vanilla items only (nothing you can't craft or recognize), crossplay-safe (works identically for Java and Bedrock players), and ADD-only (we enrich vanilla — we never strip drops, mechanics, or progression).

01 In-house Pack — AoWMythic (Champions)
The centerpiece. Any mob can spawn as a titled Champion — tiered, starred, themed, and dangerous.
HP, damage, size, and knockback scale with tier. Boss bars for the biggest threats.
Per-species archetypes and sub-titles — Zombie "the Rotting Farmer", Skeleton "the Bone Archer", etc.
0–5 stars per champion; each star adds a visible gold star and a stat bump.
Rollable modifiers such as Hasty, Cinder, Arctic, Plagued, Explosive, Colossal, and more.
Per-mob telegraphed special attacks — Plague Burst, Bone Barrage, Inferno Spiral, etc.
Champion+ mobs can blink to you if pillar'd, boat'd, or hole'd.
Biome-themed modifiers, equipment, and titles in the Nether and End.
Seasonal/time-gated champion patterns that shift spawn weights.
Personal journal of champion tiers and titles defeated.
Daily/weekly champion hunts with relic-shard and title rewards.
Every ~7 days the sky turns red: +HP mobs and 3× titled spawn rate until dawn.
World escalation 0–10; every level lifts champion stats and Echo Shard yields.
Slay enough champions and one starts hunting you by name, dropping a Vendetta Shard.
Meteor showers, thunder-lord storms, and blood-moon surges scaled to Fracture Level. Buffs event champions and pays bonus Echo Shards.

02 In-house Pack — AoWMobs (Loot & Gear)
Tier-scaled rewards and mob appearance that make the fight worth it.
Veteran 1.3× → Mythic 4× → Cataclysm 6×. Low tiers drop consistent commons; the rare/epic table opens at Champion+.
Title-themed cores dropped by Champion+ — the exciting rare/epic table.
PDC currency awarded on champion kills; scales with tier and Fracture Level.
Vanilla weapons, armor, and enchants on naturally-spawning monsters; farm-friendly spawn reasons are ignored.
Champions wear biome-dyed leather armor — desert, snow, jungle, swamp, Nether, End.
ADD-only hooks so champion loot lands safely in death graves.

Layered on top of Terralith + Towns&Towers, our generators add plants, structures, and landmarks that make exploration feel hand-placed.
